Alki Kayak Tours is working on cutting edge development of SUP instruction in the Pacific NW. We have aligned our program with the ACA curriculum so we can give you the tools to safely and effectively enjoy the growing sport of Stand Up Paddle Boarding.

SUP: Next Steps

So you’ve taken our introductory class, are comfortable moving on your board, and know the forward, turn & reverse strokes. Now, you’re ready to refine those skills, and start exploring! In this next steps course, we’ll focus on creating smoother

• forward & back strokes
• sweeps
• draws
• bracing
• as well as effective turns, paddling longer distance, and preparing for your own adventures!

You will learn a tremendous amount in this time, and leave eager to practice all your new skills to continue improving! The perfect class to take after our Introduction to SUP class!

This is an immersion class, so come prepared to get wet! We recommend partial or full wet suits, and have several sizes available upon request.
