Looking for gear, we have opened Mountain to Sound Outfitters in West Seattle, specializing in Ski and snowboard gear, skates (inline and quad), paddlesports (kayak and Stand Up Paddleboard), and vehicle racks. Seattle's core performance specialists, here to help you get dialed in.
Well the snow is gone, so if you want to rent our Seattle Ski Shuttle for a party, event, or any of your transportation needs, give us a call at 206-935-7669.

Mountain to Sound Outfitters and Alki Kayak Tours team up to give you the best opportunity to discover the right kayak for your goals. We will discuss your specifics, and give you the kayaks to paddle to answer all of your questions. Any purchase of a kayak with M2S is eligible for 15% off accessories to gear you up!
We paddle and sell Eddyline, Necky, Venture, and Emotion, and are currently negotiating more dealerships. By stocking our Demo Center with different kayak choices, we can ensure that you are getting the boat best suited for your needs.
All kayak purchases come with a 2 hour intro or rescue lesson. Help us keep it local, and give us a call if you are interested in becoming a part of the paddling community!

Join us on one of our daily sea kayak tours focusing on the natural history and human history of Seattle, the Alki Peninsula, and the Duwamish River. Our tours explore the wilder side of Puget Sound as we scout for curious seals and observe nesting bald eagles perched above the "birthplace of Seattle"

At the Alki Rental Shack we offer kayak rentals (for experienced paddlers), inline skate rentals, fishing boat rentals, bike rentals, and longboard rentals. Come on down and roll on the beach trail or paddle with some of the urban wildlife. We have easy access from downtown Seattle via the Elliot Bay Water Taxi or the West Seattle Bridge and are located just minutes from anywhere in Seattle, making it easy to come down for an adventure!
